Tanzlehrerausbildung Irish Dancing

Drei Module mit je drei Wochenend-Seminaren legen solide Grundlagen des Irish Dancing in seinen drei Spielarten Hardshoe Dancing, Softshoe Dancing, und Figure Dancing (Céilí). Jedes der Seminare hat ein separates Thema und kann auch separat gebucht werden.

Die Themen umfassen Reels, Light Jigs, Single Jigs und Slip Jigs verschiedener Schwierigkeitsgrade im Softshoe Dancing; Reels, Treble Jigs und Hornpipes, sowie mindestens  einen  der traditionellen  Set  Dances  im  Hardshoe  Dancing;  sowie  einfache  bis  komplexe  Figurentänze  aus  Ár  Rinncide  Foirne.  Neben  der  tänzerisch-choreographischen Arbeit werden auch Grundkenntnisse in Anatomie, Pädagogik, Musiktheorie, sowie spezifische Grundlagen der irischen Tanzmusik vermittelt. Am Ende jedes Moduls steht eine theoretische und praktische Prüfung, mit der ein INFC-Instructor-Zertifikat erworben werden kann. Über die Irish National Folk Company, Dublin (INFC) können auch weitere Fortbildungen in Irland selbst belegt werden. Der Lehrplan der Ausbildung basiert auf dem INFC-Syllabus.

Aufbaufortbildungen werden in regelmäßigen Abständen angeboten. Vom Deutschen Berufsverband für Irish Dancing, der Irish Dance Germany (IDG), wird dieser
Ausbildungsgang anerkannt. Bei Mitgliedern des Allgemeinen Deutschen Tanzlehrerverbandes kann das Zertifikat auch als Fachtanzlehrer des ADTV anerkannt werden.

Irish Dancing - Instructors' Course

Three modules, with three weekend seminars each, lay a solid foundation of Irish dancing, including hardshoe, softshoe and céilí. Every seminar has a separate topic and can also be booked separately.

Topics for softshoe dancing include light reels, light jigs, single jigs and slip jigs, starting at a basic level and getting more difficult as we go along. Treble reels, treble jigs and hornpipes will give you an overview of hardshoe dancing. At least one of the traditional solo sets will also be included in the hardshoe section. The céilí section will start out with some easy figure dances, and proceed to the more complex ones, most from Ár Rinncide Foirne. 

Besides all the dancing, teaching sections for anatomy, teaching methods, music theory and specific musical knowledge for Irish dancers will round off the programme. At the end of each module, you can take an exam and, if you pass, obtain an INFC instructor’s certificate. The Irish National Folk Company, Dublin (INFC), also offers courses in Ireland for those who wish to further improve their understanding of Irish dancing. Follow-up seminars in Germany are also offered on a regular basis. This instructors’ course is officially recognized by Germany’s professional association for Irish dancers, the Irish Dance Germany (IDG).  If you are an ADTV member, your certificate can also be recognized by them.
